Bunu Qaynarinfo-ya açıqlamsında Əməkdar müəllim, xanəndə Qəzənfər Abbasov Milli Konservatoriyanın qarşısında dahi bəstəkar Üzeyir Hacıbəyovun heykəlinə ayaqqabı atan gəncdən danışarkən deyib. Muğam ifaçısı həmin gəncin hərəkətini əxlaqsızlıq adlandırıb:

"Belə insanları cəzalandırmaq lazımdır ki, hamıya dərs olsun. Bu əxlaqsızlıqdır. Dahilərə toxunmaq xalqın heydiyyatını oyadır. Bir mənalı şəkildə cəzalanmalıdır”.

Qeyd edək ki, bir neçə gün öncə Bakıda Azərbaycanın dahi bəstəkarı Üzeyir Hacıbəyovun heykəlinə ayaqqabı atan şəxs müəyyən olunub. Görüntülər polis əməkdaşları tərəfindən araşdırılıb və keçirilmiş tədbirlərlə qeyd olunan əməli törətmiş 21 yaşlı İsmayılov Elvin Elgün oğlu və 17 yaşlı Cəfərov Fərid Fəxrəddin oğlu müəyyən olunaraq saxlanılıblar. DİN-in mətbuat xidmətinin məlumatına əsasən, Üzeyir Hacıbəyovun heykəlinə ayaqqabı atan şəxslərdən biri həbs edilib, digəri cərimələnib.
